Exordia was the last-known paradise planet, situated in the smallest solar system in an undiscovered galaxy many light-years away, complete with a few continents and different races of beings. Each continent balanced with its own history and legends. Where it all started, it was uncertain.
Evalon, one of the few continents, was once “upon a myth in the Aphotic age” of the world ruled by a powerful energy force, the heart of Evalon, that was both good and evil, but yet unbalanced. The evil overpowered the goodness. Evalon was soon doomed. Elements were thrown out of balance, died out and no hope was left. The races of Evalon were ruled by fear and darkness.
It was at the darkest of the Aphotic age in Evalon, when a meteor-shower struck the planet with brutal force. To this high-powered natural disaster, hope and freedom were rewarded for the races. The powerful energy force was ripped in two by the unknown gases of the meteors, dividing the forces’ good and evil from each other, leaving it unable to bind again. However, with the existence of the other, peace and harmony amongst the races was out of reach for each wants to destroy the other for the sole purpose – to rule. With this, a fresh page was turned into history, and the Aphotic age ended, and a new age started, the Median age. Conversely, so it was believed.
The good force was known as Phoenix, for it takes up the form of a Phoenix, while the rumour spreads that exists in the heart of the mountain DunCora. The evil force is known as Dracor, takes up the form of a dragon, was driven to the dark side of Evalon and was known to exist in the fires of Volcano Dorua. However, it was still unknown as to where the true existences of these forces were.
Over the centuries, the power-hungry Dracor has conquered and created his own race known as the Wraiths, Mortals drove by greed and power.
For many years, they have tried to search, conquer and destroy the power force of Phoenix and the other races of Evalon. They have failed for Evalon was being held in balance by eight Elements: Water, Fire, Wind, Metal, Wood, Void, Heart, and Life. The location of the Elements was kept a secret to all the races of Evalon. They were known as the Elders, Elements long ago created by Phoenix to restore the balance of Evalon.
Evalon has itself four different races in existence, each with their own unique destiny and with that, special powers. To some, the source for these powers was unknown, to some it was believed to have come from the Elders to others it was believed to have come from Phoenix itself. The Wraihts, however, had their own destiny and special powers, which were believed to be sourced by the dark force of Dracor.
The Elders were the oldest of all races. The Elders were energy forces, each unique by the element they resemble. It was believed that the seven known Elements could not be divided. It was as well believed that if one, or more of the Elders were destroyed; the balance of Evalon would be broken and can then be destroyed or conquered easily. They can also bring someone from the dead if it was destined to be.
The second eldest of all races, and was believed to live up to a thousand years and were therefore called the Immortals. However, a legend of a three-thousand-year-old immortal spread around the world. Their lifespan came from the Elements, a race created long ago through chosen creatures rare and powerful – creatures chosen by Phoenix. The Immortals possesses the power to foresee the future, which also sets them apart from the other elevated races. Immortals do not possess the ability of invulnerability and therefore, could be wounded giving them the bitter taste of what mortality could bring. If the wounds were mortally fatal, they die, only to find that death does not come so easy, and their life force send back into their bodies, giving them life once again. However, once beheaded, their lives and destiny would be lost in time.
The third eldest of all races and the most important in Evalon were the Imperial race known as the Saviours. The Saviours were a Mortal race of noble descent, selected by Phoenix to govern Evalon, which gives them a slightly longer lifespan and more superpowers than the other races. They were the only race that was capable of governing Evalon. The Saviours were often referred to as the Dark Angels. Then, there was the ordinary race – mortals which were the basis of Evalon’s races and culture. They, however, do not possess any powers. These mortals were devoted to the production and management of industry, food in the farmsteads and villages and sold it in the marketplace, which lies in the capital of each city. They were often referred to as peasants.
Mortals, selected by destiny could have their fates altered, and then they developed one or more special powers. With the changes of destiny as the Mortals frequently say, these mortals were often banned from their homes and villages as their families do not understand the gift that was given to them. The path of destiny drove these mortals to such a fate and race known as the dark knights of Evalon – Evalon Knights.
This race served and protected the Saviours, along with the existence and freedom of Evalon and with that the bitter souls of those who banned them.
With this, long ago, two families could not depart from their offspring despite their special powers and were exiled as well. These two families went their separate ways, and in time built up their own villages and homes. Through the centuries, the two-family lines were all destined with special powers and thus became two unique races.
One of these races were known as Trackers – unequalled with powers giving them the gift to hunt and track outstandingly. Trackers dedicate their lives to freedom and justice. They were the hunters who would track down traitors and outlaws and deliver them to the Immortals for punishment.
The other race was known as Healers. The only race that possesses any form of power to heal, they could heal any race, if the wounds were life-threatening, and it was in the person’s destiny to live on.
The world was held in balance by one rule – destiny – a path written for each person by Gods long ago. No matter how powerful the person’s powers were or of what race he comes from if it was written in his destiny to die, he would. Thus, the greatest legend of all begins…
