Background
Sir Gawin Buron is the middle son of King Euan Seran and Queen Grewynn Seran of Istolia, a city now left in ruin after a war between Creris and Istolia. He lost his memory and was taken in by Sir Joseph Buron and his wife Edin, who raised him as their own son under the name “Gawin.” His true identity as a prince and a Knight of Creris is a secret he must protect at all costs.
Personality
Gawin is a lonesome renegade ranger who once believed in Knighthood and Loyalty. He is a natural leader, loyal, kind, and generous to the people. He provides his services for free to restore justice to those who have suffered. Despite his faith in the code of a Knight being shaky, he still upholds its principles due to what he learned from Sir Richard Bowar. He is cautious and careful not to reveal his true identity and past.
Appearance
At 45 years old, Gawin stands 5’11” tall with a brown stubble short beard, dark brown shoulder-length straight hair, and green eyes. He has an attractive appearance with a longish face and an athletic, slim but muscular physique. He bears scars from battles, including one above his right eye and an old arrow wound through his left shoulder.
Abilities
Gawin is an exceptionally skilled swordsman, earning a legendary reputation as the best swordsman and Knight that ever lived. He is a proficient tracker and hunter with an eye for finer detail. He possesses a high IQ, allowing him to visualize patterns and possibilities. Gawin also has the unique ability to use magic without spells, making him a formidable opponent. His keen judgment allows him to profile people and know when they are lying accurately.
Connection / Team
Gawin is a rival to King Francis Eades, the ruler of Creris, whom he once served as a Knight. He is a friend and fellow Knight to Owen’s father, Sir Baldur Quinn. He shares a deep friendship with Sir Rowan Montagu, and their bond goes back to their childhood before the war that destroyed Istolia. He also has a complex connection with Lady Evelyn, cousin to Prince Doran, as he is in love with her.
