With a sashay in her tail, Minky strolled closer and dropped her prize at Kaylin’s feet. A slightly shocked Kaylin looked down to find a semi-devoured chicken wing placed neatly in front of her. “Minky, what have you…” Kaylin murmured as she bent down to pick it up. The chicken wing had a bite conspicuously missing – a hilarious hint that if Minky could, she probably would steal food straight out of someone’s mouth. “Minky! It’s still warm, where did you get it?” she asked, a hint of incredulity creeping into her voice, as if the feline could answer.
The mischievous cat simply sat back on her haunches, her emerald-green eyes gleaming with pride and amusement. Her hefty body, a testament too many successful “hunts”, radiated satisfaction. She seemed thoroughly pleased with herself and showed no signs of regret or concern. Her tail twitched and swayed in an almost celebratory fashion, reflecting her satisfaction at the successful ‘hunt’.
